A Band Stop to Band Pass Filter Transformation Utilizing 3-D Printing Technique for C-band Applications

In this paper, a band-pass filter (BPF) based on split-ring resonator (SRR) using 3-D printing technique for C-band applications is introduced. The proposed designed to operate at frequency of 3.9 GHz. An innovative the substrate with size 24 x 1.1 mm3 PLA dielectric material implemented. copper sheet thickness 0.1 mm printed upper and lower faces substrate. First, SRR band stop (BSF) introduced then two L-Stubs are inserted implement an additional region, rejoin adjusted obtain region between stopbands. BPF operated 3-dB bandwidth extended from 3.5 GHz 4.3 S21 level -0.2 dB simulated results while it achieves within 3.6 4.2 (15.3 %) -1.8 measured results.
